Christian Ferrer, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Quitman who strives to provide quality care to underserved communities.
“I volunteered for a homeless health clinic while I was in college. During my time there, I realized the drastic disparities of care in our medical system. I pursued a career in healthcare to try to close the gap of care disparity.”
Dr. Ferrer is passionate about preventive health and provides care for patients of all ages. He offers a wide range of services, including women’s care, joint injections and geriatric chronic care.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Ferrer enjoys playing and watching basketball, golf, tennis and football.
Dr. Ferrer is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
