Colin believes that primary prevention and health promotion are two of the most important aspects of healthcare. Her goal is not only to treat patients' pre-existing conditions, but also to help prevent illnesses from occurring or worsening. "Being an advocate for my patients and addressing their needs both physically and mentally is a top priority for me," she said.
Colin chose a career in healthcare because she has always loved taking care of people, making them feel better, and being a nurse practitioner allows her to do just that. She was drawn to family medicine because it gives her the opportunity to treat multiple conditions.
In her spare time, Colin loves being outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending time with her husband and two children.
