UT Health East Texas Physicians Mt. Pleasant - ENT
UT Health Pittsburg
Eric Reed, DO, FAOCO, is a board certified otolaryngologist (ENT) at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Mt. Pleasant, Pittsburg and Quitman. Reed focuses on treating the whole patient. “I try to counsel as extensively as possible so the patient and family understand. I view the patient as the most important member of the healthcare team.
Reed was in his family medicine residency when he spent some time with an ENT team. “On the last day of my rotation, the chief resident allowed me to perform a tonsillectomy in the OR. I was convinced that ENT was for me and moved successfully into that training program.”
His special interests include nasal/sinus surgery, allergy treatment, ear surgery, facial skin cancer surgery and general ENT.
Dr. Reed is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
